Paul Tobey, CEO

Paul Tobey, CEO

Paul Tobey is the CEO of TrainingBusinessPros, and has the passion of a Lead Trainer as Canada's Top Internet Marketing and Social Media Trainer.  He’s trained over 22,000 business owners across Canada and the USA, to a high degree of positive outcome, with some of his clients recognizing Paul as their catalyst to helping them earn millions.

He’s trained authors, speakers, internet marketers, CEO’s, and business owners from all industries, everything from chocolate makers, to car part manufacturers, from chemical salts to spiritual wellness and everything in between. (See testimonials here). He’s also a hand’s on type of guy, that likes to oversee and do his own search engine optimization and social media.  So when he trains, he’s always current.

If you google his name, you’ll find thousands of references to his music career as a concert jazz pianist.  Don’t get confused, that’s him.  He couldn’t become a Diana Krall or a Michael Buble, so he became an internet marketer out of pure necessity.  Through much trial and error he figured out how to sell online, everything from advanced piano lessons, to christmas sheet music, to “tinnitus” programs, to social media webinars. That’s the beginning of his life at CEO.  People started asking him “how are you doing that”.  Shortly after, he got “certified” as a trainer, and since trained at over 100 events per year.

Since 2007, the training business grew 400% a year, much through word of mouth.  Perhaps it’s that Paul teaches more than just “how to’s”.  He’s gone through the “breakthrough”, and businesses need more than just the how to.  They need the “why”.  And as Paul trains, you’ll see that the testimonials people naturally gravitate on thanking them for a breakthrough the ‘personal” development vs. a ‘how to’  aspect of the training.

Paul Tobey became an in-demand speaker, speaking for entrepreneur based conferences around North America.  His first book “Suggestology, - More than a marketing secret” will be available from our office in the fall and through retail Spring of 2010 published by Burman Books.

Thomas Kaufmann

Thomas Kauffman
Event Logistics

When you need a reliable go-to guy, it’s nice to have a guy like Thomas around.  He’s the guy that keeps track of inventory, is there for set up and tear down when it comes to live events and tradeshows.  He’s the guy that monitors what needs to be repaired, what needs to be purchased, and is the guy that make sure every event goes smoothly.  He’s the “fix it” guy, and ‘make it work” guy.  He’s the guy that has to know everything there is to know about sound, film and fixing drawers.  He’s always the guy to show up with a coffee when you need it. We love him for all those reasons, and he’s just a great guy.

Chuck the Accountant

Chartered Accountant

For the first few years, we had his collegue who was a chain smoker, which drove us crazy.  When we moved location, we ended up with Chuck.  Chuck has over 150 clients, and he says that out of his 150 clients he does have, we are the one that is the most profitable, yet we give him the hardest time.  I’m not sure why that is, but it’s a love hate relationship.  It works and keeps everybody on track and within budget.
