Is it safe to order online?

Yes. Our site makes use of the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to provide the highest level of security available. This system is safer than ordering over a phone, a fax, or even using your card in stores where your credit card information is sent over a phone line without any encryption. When using SSL, your transactions are coded before being processed. Never order from a merchant who requests your credit card information by e-mail, or through a non-secure form.

How can I tell when the store is secure?

To check the security of your connection, look at the lower right or left-hand corner of your browser window when you make an order. If you see a closed lock or unbroken key picture (actual image depends on your browser), then SSL is active and the website is secure. You can also double-check by looking at the URL line of your browser. When accessing a secure website, the first characters of the site address will change from "http" to "https." Right now the website should not be secure, because there is no secure information being passed to us. You will notice a change during the checkout process when you reach step 5/5 and you enter payment information. You do not have to complete an order in order to test this out.

If you are about to send information to an insecure site, your browser will warn you that the site is not secure.

Will my Credit Card Company protect me?

Yes. All major credit card companies have accepted ordering online as a legitimate means of payment and are fully prepared to deal with unauthorized credit card usage. Just like in the real world, if your card number is misappropriated, you are not responsible for fraudulent activity later charged to your card. Please visit your credit card's website for more information.

Credit card purchases will be shipped within 5 business days of an approved order. We often ship right away so try to get a hold of us as soon as possible if you need to change your order.

All orders will be shipped by Canada Post, please contact us if you require your order to be shipped faster using Federal Express.

Sales Tax Information

All Ontario purchases are subject to applicable taxes (13%.) Other provinces will be taxed GST only (5%.) International orders are tax exempt.

Shipping Guarantee

We Guarantee that your order will be shipped within five business days after payment is verified. We are not responsible for items delayed, damaged, or lost within the postal system.

Currency

All orders are in US dollars (US$). The merchant vendor on your credit card bill will be displayed as "Pilgrim Productions Inc." which handles all credit card processing for Paul Tobey's Online Store. If there is a discrepancy between the exchange rate posted for foreign currency on the website and your final credit card statement, the credit card statement rate shall be deemed as the true exchange rate.

We value you as a customer! We guarantee that every item we sell will give you complete satisfaction or you may return it for a refund. All items must be returned with the original invoice and in original condition.

What is our return policy?

If you are not completely satisfied with your product for any reason, please return it to our shipping address below within 30 days of receipt of the item for a full refund. Please note that we cannot refund shipping charges on any item. Our return policy covers all items in our online store including digital download items.

Returning items by mail

Mail it back with the original invoice. Please indicate on the back of the invoice, or in an attached letter, the reason for the return of the item(s). Specify if you would prefer a charge credit or an exchange. If you are exchanging, let us know what you would like in place of the item being returned. Pack and seal your return securely (in the original package if possible). Please return item(s) via post only; Address your package to:

Be sure to include your name, address and daytime phone number in case we need to contact you. Please allow 14 business days from the day you return your package for your return to be credited or exchange made. We are not responsible for any damage that may occur to the items you are returning during shipment. For your own protection, you may wish to send your return by insured parcel post or courier.

Credit card refunds

All credits will be placed on the credit card used for the original purchase. Refunds take up to 48 hours to process. You will be notified by e-mail when the refund has gone through. Please allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.

Refunds on shipping charges

We will refund shipping charges only if we made an error in order processing.

International Shipping

We are able to ship orders to international destinations. Please verify your shipping rates upon checkout. Once your order has been processed we cannot refund shipping charges.
