CEO, FOUNDER

Long before Paul was orchestrating marketing plays, he was an award winning composer and pianist orchestrating symphonies, literally. So bringing thousands of moving parts to make a company’s marketing perform beautifully was literally just math and music for Paul.

Since 2007, Paul Tobey has been featured on stages across the world as a thought leader in Digital Marketing. As CEO of Training Business Pros he’s brought the company to be Canada’s Top Digital Marketing Training Company. Training Business Pros has trained over 50,000 business owners across Canada and the USA, helping them earn millions. Paul is author of 2 published books: Suggestology and BDO#1. NANCY HOULE

VP OPERATIONS

Nancy Houle is in charge of day to day operations including Finance, Legal, HR, Insurance, and business development. If Nancy is not setting up partnerships with International partners, she’ll be setting up strategic relations with sponsors or government funding bodies. As co-founder of TBP, Nancy has witnessed the company serve well over 50 thousand companies. The team celebrates it’s 10 year anniversary in November 2017.

In 2014, Training Business Pros added the agency division to it’s service of offerings, bringing Business Pros Marketing into the fold of digital marketing boutique firms serving a portfolio of businesses that include retail, distribution, manufacturing and online properties in an array of industry verticals.

ADRIAN

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING | ICP

Adrian is the resident tech genius as well as not being that bad of a digital marketer. He is the lead developer of FormLift and is responsible for much of the cool automation that Training Business Pros uses to run the company.

Adrian regularly writes for the TBP blog to help small businesses employ what they might usually believe to be super complicated strategies, as well as occasionally hosts the Toronto Infusionsoft User group to train business owners and give step by step tutorials to implement complex automation.

The only thing he enjoys more than cycling on the weekends is seeing other companies having big wins as a direct result of Training Business Pros’ efforts.

MIKE

Mike was online before there was anything called “the internet.” No he is not THAT old, he just started very young. He went from a kid writing code on his commodore 64 to designing websites and digital solutions for small businesses.

After running his own web development company for about 10 years, he transitioned to pursue a career as a SAP-trained professional. He chose to come back when his friends would still come to him for web development advice. This rekindled his passion for using digital media to help people succeed.

Mike brings his many years of Digital Media Development, Project Management, and Customer Relations experience to the TBP team. Mike is the Training Business Pros’ Infusionsoft strategist, whose goal is to support and empower TBP’s client portfolio.

ATTY

LEAD DESIGNER

As our lead Graphic and Web Designer, Atty has more than 10 years in Graphic and Web Design.

She joined TBP after a 6 years stint with a popular magazine where Atty had to develop both the online and offline print material for the magazine and it’s clients. Her portfolio of design was impressive, so this combined with her computer science studies and strong knowledge of WordPress Web Design made her a natural choice for TBP.

Atty works on our Deep Dive team and along with our digital marketing strategists, complete’s website make-overs and integrates sales funnels and lifecycle marketing.

Paid Search Manager

Reporting to CEO, in this critical role you will be hands on and responsible for and/or assisting in the planning, development and execution of inbound marketing & conversion strategies for our portfolio of clients. You will join us in our purpose – “to help small business grow”.

Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

As part of a dynamic team of Marketing Professionals, you are highly motivated by helping small business grow. You love working face to face with CEO’s of all types of businesses. You are very proud of your conversions. You know how to get more for less. You have worked with a portfolio of clients where you have tracked lead sources, you know how to tweak landing pages to increase conversions, and you absolutely thrive on getting great ROI for clients. You have the following basics:

  • Plan, build, and optimize paid search and retargeting campaigns on Google and Bing with the assistance of the Digital team, including; keyword management, ad creation, A/B testing, budget management, display network campaign management, and bid management.
  • Create, update and present online marketing channel reporting.
  • Monitor campaigns and drive off target projects to ensure KPI targets are met.
  • Plan, build, and optimize paid search and retargeting campaigns on Google and Bing including; keyword management, ad creation, A/B testing, budget management, display network campaign management, and bid management

More than a WordPress Developer, you are helping us get the customer “wow”.

This is a perfect career for someone who is both highly technical and organized.

Even though you are technically strong you still love face to face time with clients. You have a highly detailed mindset and love workflows. You take charge with creative development timelines (project briefings and internal creative reviews with appropriate parties). You ensure timeline is adhered to and that creative teams and digital marketers at all levels are on-schedule. You enjoy working in an open environment and collaborate with others. You seek proper approvals across the agency, send meeting recaps, makes assets available, tracks/updates/archives all client work, makes sure appropriate parties are kept in the loop, appropriate resources are assigned. You co-create with production staff (design, CRM, search, etc) on client presentations/new business pitches.

Inside Sales Representative

Responsibilities :

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding assigned revenue quota (e.g. exceed quota of 1M +)
  • Ability to manage your sales pipelines through the demonstration of account and territory planning
  • Ability to identify other sales opportunities within our Agency portfolio
  • Capable of closing software contract and services in the range of $500.00 – $100K
  • Participate in webinars, and provide product demonstrations in person and via webinar software
  • Work with the sales leadership to strategize on sales approaches
  • Provide exemplary Sales expertise through technical and product presentations, on-going consultation

Qualifications:

  • Understanding and working knowledge of the digital marketing ecosystem

Intermediate Bookkeeper

POSITION OPEN

Fluency in Quickbooks and Quickbooks Online are required.

Ideal candidate will help company to maintain proper accounting records, payroll and CRA reporting and compliance for small business.. Duties include:

  • Ensuring accurate financial record keeping through entry of a financial data into QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online systems
  • Reconciliation of accounts in the bookkeeping software.
  • Proper use of financial software modules.
  • Preparing payroll including submission of source deductions; preparation and submission of T4’s and creation and online submission of records of employment
  • Year end preparation and submission to accountant of financial reports
  • Financial record keeping and filing
  • Some administrative tasks such as scanning, faxing and copying required.

Preferred Experience and/or Education:

  • A mid-level working knowledge of the QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online systems and their modules.
  • Required: A Certificate in Bookkeeping or Accounting Diploma from a recognized college or university
  • Experience in small business bookkeeping.
  • Experience as a bookkeeper for more than 2 years is preferred.
