The number one problem that I see with businesses today who try to make an impact online is that while it’s important to display your website in a professional manner the most important thing is that you actually get some traffic.

The number one challenge that you will find with traffic sources such as Google, Yahoo and other search engines is that they have very specific rules on creating what we call;” search engine results pages”.

These are very specific formulas which help you rank higher in the search engines. It’s essentially context over content. In other words it’s not what you say but how you say.

Here are a couple of examples of things that you must do to deliver a steady stream of search engine traffic to your website;

  1. make sure that the keyword phrase that you have chosen is as a result of doing what we call targeted keyword research. What you chose your keyword phrase you must contextually placed that keyword phrase in your content so that Google recognizes it and displays it on its results pages because you have contextualized the keyword phrase better than everyone else in your category.   3. Once you’ve done this then you must go out into the world and create what we call back links. To describe a back link think of it like this; a back link is a hyperlink from someone else’s website to yours in essence endorsing the fact that you have good information and they are delivering their traffic to you.
  4. People sometimes get confused at this point because they think to themselves does anybody need to click that link for it to be valuable? And, the answer is; now. It just has to be there. In other words Google will find those links and the more links it finds to you the higher you will rank you.

The only reason that people will keep reading is if you built and not curiosity in that short period of time, less than 15 seconds, so that they’re willing to take the leap of faith and spend time to read what’s on the rest of this webpage. There are several ways to build curiosity most of those are beyond the scope of this article but I encourage you to do your research.
  4. Roundup your audience by calling your people by name. If you got a targeted audience one of the best ways to enroll and engage them is to use their name examples of this are; women, men, architects, truckers, doctors, lawyers and any other group of people that you can explain some are more detailed than others but I think you get the idea.
  5. And finally one of the best ways to get people into a focused mental state is to make them feel something. The only way people will make a decision in your favor to continue reading is if something overwrite their skepticism. And the only thing on planet Earth that can overwrite somebody skepticism is if they intrinsically feel like the information that they’re going to get is something that they don’t already know and that will empower them in some way.

The biggest problem that I see when people go searching for a graphic design pricelist is that the only thing they care about. Did you know that the most important thing about hiring a graphic designer has nothing to do with how much you will pay but how much they know based on the experience that they have. You can pay as little as $100 for a brochure and in the end you’re getting the benefit of somebody who works for $100 an hour. That’s not a good decision if you want to get somewhere quickly.

 

What I’d like to point out in this article is that there aren’t things that you should focus on to look for in a graphic design artist, what their power truly is and how you might make a better decision on choosing one not based on cost but based on value. However, I will show you what things at what cost if you were hiring the right person.

  1. Brochures. There are obviously a number of different types of brochures you could make; trifold, single page, multiple page, so obviously the price reflects the size of the actual product. What I would recommend is not so much the size of the brochure is what you should look at but you should consider what do I want my brochure to do so I quite frankly don’t put much faith in graphic design from the perspective of that is not what’s going to hook the reader it’s the words that you choose that will help their mind. So not only should you get a graphic designer but you should get yourself a marketing copywriter and graphic designer rolled into one. What should you expect to pay for someone like this? A lot! But in these days you get what you pay for.
  2. Websites. People always choose web designers based on their ability to graphically design something that’s pleasing. Again, this is a mistake. Graphic design is important only from the perspective that you want to look professional, modern and at least a little bit with it. However it is secondary to the education-based marketing concept. The words that you choose, the order that those words. And the hypnotic efficiency of those words is the thing that you should be looking for. So it’s not a web designer and a graphic designer that you wanted all it’s a copywriter who understands the way that people think and the way people make decisions. Chapter 1-Data Doesn’t Matta

The biggest problem that I see amongst today’s presenters is that in order to look important, sound important and be important most of them think that the more data and the more content that they deliver will help them accomplish this.

Nothing in my experience could be further from the truth.

The reason for this is; it’s not about the presenter it’s about the audience and what they will take away.

This is, by the way, the number one reason why speakers get nervous because they put all the focus and attention on themselves and how good they look and how great they sound. If they just take the attention off themselves and focus on the number one thing that they need to do not to be nervous which is,” come from service”, they would not only not be nervous but they would have a much higher impact and result.

Therefore context is far more important than content. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it that matters. One of the things that I would encourage you to do is to seek out template-based presentations which then allow you to take your content and format it in such a way that not only makes sense to the audience but  makes it fun to learn, engaging and most importantly experiential.

Think of this for a moment; how can you build muscle watching me lift weight? Most speakers just lift weight never giving the opportunity for their audiences to do the same thing.

So what you might do in your next presentation is not just give examples of how it works and show them how it works but actually let them work on it. One of the ways you could do this is to give an exercise and have people in the room actually work through it and then provide feedback based on what they learned.

This will not only be fun, it will be highly enrolling and engaging and they’ll learn a lot more than if all you ever do is throw data at people.

It is a simple program that you downloaded and installed from the company it costs very little and it allows you to quickly choose keyword phrases that you can think of and a whole bunch of keyword phrases that you can’t think of and do analysis on those keyword phrases making it easy for you to find the best ones to get on the front page of Google which is the overall goal.

  1. The first step in choosing keyword phrases is to pick the best one that targets what you wanted explain and then generating keywords to find a list of at least 100 alternatives sometimes the one that you have in your head is not always the best one.
  2. The next thing you would do is a type of competition analysis which takes out to certain keyword phrases which are not viable for example; things like phrase to broad which basically means is good keyword phrase in the right order or not also you would also want to keyword phrases that don’t have more than 1 million competitors. Sometimes when you play in a market that has 27 million competitors becomes that much harder for you find and rank in the top 10.
  3. I could go on and on but most people in the room can eventually get the idea that in 4 min. or less or 5 min. or less I can create as much content as I want the software rarely makes mistakes because you train it before you start takes about 5 to 10 min. to train it and it just saves you a ton of time.

Promote Your BlogOne of the keys to a great “promote your blog” strategy is to make sure there’s actually something to read when I get there. It’s more than just a web log of your recent restaurant mishaps and office politics. It’s about education based marketing and helping people make better decisions and guiding them to make good choices.

I would recommend a “how-to” article strategy. How-to articles are designed to help people learn a mechanism. This is the step by step information that shows a reader how to do an important task and also tells them what they get when they do that.

Here are my top 5 ways to write a great “how-to” article.

  1. Start with what the problem is that your article will solve.  Many people do not know they even have a problem so you need to spell it out.  Obviously the solution will be in the article itself but until you state a problem who would go out of their way to read the solution?
  2. A couple of intro paragraphs should be enough and included with the problem you’ll need to give a quick compelling reason for someone to read further.  That reason is the benefit they’ll get by reading it.  For example: the reason to read this article was state above to be “a good promote your blog” strategy.
  3. Use bullet points to help people scan the article easily.  Leave tons of white space as well. Each bullet point should talk about the “how to” and also the benefit of that “how-to”. The benefit to this bullet point point is allowing people to easily read by scanning.
  4. Your information that you deliver should be based on experience only.  Why? Because, if you have to research your topic you really don’t have the right to talk about it.  Do you?  Writing from experience means that you’re giving people not only solutions but you actually have proof that it works. Also, it takes a lot less time to write from experience than having to do research then write it.
  5. Finally, the main reason to use “how-to” articles as a promote your blog strategy is because good information helps you build trust, credibility and respect.  People do business with leaders.  And, leaders are people that without being asked, step out of their comfort zone and lead by disseminating information.

The overall purpose of your blog is to build a body of information that is valuable to others.  How-to articles are only one way to do this but I think one of the best ways.

    The answer to this dilemma is to create headlines that enroll and engage the visitor in 15 seconds or less and builds some very powerful decision-making processes in their own minds that gets them to keep reading. The best system that I’ve found on planet Earth for this to happen is to create what is known as hypnotic headlines.

    Here are six ways to create a hypnotic headline that enrolls engages the visitor piques their interest and gets them to keep reading;

    1. The first thing you must do is grab someone’s attention. Do not let people mistake the prime real estate on your website for anything but a headline. It must be big, it must be bold and it must be centered top of the page so that they cannot miss it. If you want to connect with men use blue you want to connect with women use red if you want to connect with both audiences use black.
    2. Next, you must inform people that they’re in the right place. One of the best ways that you can do this is to use the same keyword phrase that they used to find you on Google in your headline. That tells them immediately that they’re in the right place.
    3. The only way that someone is going to keep reading is if you peek their curiosity. One of the ways to do this is; ask a question. Or, you could make a statement using a word that they’ve never heard before. Or you can talk about something that most people don’t talk about. Or you can paint a clear picture of something that is popular news.
    4. The biggest problem is that when people come to your website there are ultimately skeptical. They have very little trust for you yet, because you have not yet earned the right to talk about what you’re talking about. So what you must do first is to appeal to their sense of feeling. The way they feel is the only way to overwrite their skepticism and keep them open for what’s coming.

Ask a lot of questions because when you ask a question for example; What you think is the most important thing when it comes to hypnotic copywriting? What I just did was pop the question poking in your mind some curiosity to get you to keep reading. So obviously putting a question and then using the word “because” is a great way to hook somebody’s mind because they listen to what happens after the word because.
    3. And finally when it comes to hypnotic marketing you need to know that people are completely overwhelmed with their daily tasks. If they come to your website is because they’re looking for something and they don’t have a lot of time to find it. So what you need to do is talk their minds get them into a focused mental state where the only thing that matters to them if the content that’s on the webpage and they’ll read it because you’re giving them something of value and your partner mind where their open to receiving that value.

    2. Anchor text is as simple as knowing the HTML called to create the anchor text. The more anchor text links that you have on a specific subject plastered throughout the Internet which lead back to a specific page on your website the higher that page will rank for the keyword phrase that is in the anchor text code.
    3. You’re probably wondering by this time why I haven’t just given you the code. The reason for that is you need to know what it does before learning how to do it that way you’ll have enough motivation to actually create anchor text on your own and begin the back linking process to your website which is way more powerful than what most people would do.
